The Bible states that God sent his one and only son down to die on the cross for all of our sins (past present future). This event is one of the main reasons why I believe God is real today. Even though we did not see it happen, it is in the Bible, and Gods people wrote this event down to witness to many people today. This is the very reason why I believe in God; because when He died on that cross, 3 days later, He rose back to life and basically conquered death. If this event had not really happened, and people just wrote it just because? Then why would it be such a big controversy today? And why would many people hate on this event or not want to believe it, or why would it be talked about all over the world today? I think we both know why, because it actually happened and this event is no fiction, it is fact.

I would also like to say I believe in God because of what He has done in my life. There have been some things in my life where there was no hope for me but to trust in God Himself, and sure enough God pulled through. Some may say it is an accident, or luck or chance that what I thought was hopeless had happened, but if these things keep on happening in my life, I highly doubt, in fact 100% doubt that it is not by chance or luck but by God Himself. You can also see when people worship God during conferences or just regular church time, they have emotion and they start crying like crazy – I don’t think they cry over nothing, but may be crying because they feel God’s presence and that He is real. Or, on the other hand, they may have just gotten really emotional about what was going on at that time. At the very end of the day, I wouldn’t know for sure why a person is doing something, as I am not them and they are not me, but what I can do is infer, and based on inferences I make claims based on what I know and observe.

And besides, if God were not real, then we wouldn’t have so much hatred on this one “religion” per say, even though it is not a religion but a relationship with Jesus Christ. People around the world respect all religions, but when it comes to Christianity, people get quiet and have the most negative thoughts towards it, now why is that? It is because they know deep down inside that there is something unique about Christianity and they don’t want to believe it because they know they will be convicted of what they have done, and they think God will punish them harshly. But they also need to know that God is a loving god, and yes, as the saying goes Love Hurts. This is true because God sent His own son to die on the Cross for our sins, and He did it out of LOVE. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate hurt for us, (Hence Love Hurts). They don’t make up sayings for nothing, there is a meaning and reason behind each legit saying(if you know what I mean), and this is one of them which makes perfect sense.
